It is the biggest crystal of topaz that we chose. It possesses a beautiful "champagne" color.
Edges are perfectly defined and the specimen settles very well. There were no shocks, during the extraction and the specimen is such as found in situ. Two zones underwent natural attacks: on the side of the crystal, the gangue exercised a pressure and so we can see a not formed edge only in this place. Other one bums around who can give to confusion is at the top of the crystal: edges are perfected, however, just behind, there is a zone of micro-splits(micro-cleavages). The base of the specimen rested on its gangue, but it was separed during the extraction, the pocket being "ready to collect". The back of the specimen is a natural cleavage. This specimen is magnificent due to its size and shape, but also due to its color which remains steady, and which is not due only for the thickness of the crystal
