Rare fluorite crystal shape (hexoctahedon).
Floatting specimen discovered in 1978 in the fluorite mine called "En Bournegade". This mine is in Tarn area (south of France), and has been definitively closed some years ago.
The blue color of this specimen is more "sky blue".
According to the informations we found about this discovery, the pocket was a small one (50 cm diameter). Only once it happened...
This speciemn is especially for the fluorite systematicians, and/or those who enjoy collecting strange and unusual (rare) crystal shapes.
