Some zones of Rogerley mine are limestone with silice. This one splits with great difficulty and is not thus possible that to be sawed to be able to preserve the intact crystallizations.
This specimen, rather big, has the back and the sides which are sawed, but its presentation does not suffer from it. As for all the specimens presented here, it is possible to remove these brands of saw (on request).
Cubes always present the same dichroïsme (green in the artificial light and blue-purple and green under the UV of the natural light). Cubes are silky, with brilliant zones and other more matt zones.
