UK - Rogerley Spathfluorminerals.com is proud to announce you that chosen fluorite specimens, extracted from the Rogerley Mine by the UK Mining Ventures Company, are now available. Spathfluorminerals.com, in partnership with UK Mining Ventures, is the only French site to present specimens in direct origin of the mine, without intermediary. Some of the best specimens of the 2003 period are presented here. Most of the specimens collected during summer 2004, come from the "West Cross Cut". Spathfluor.com, in association with Multiaxes, is the only agent for France for UKMV. This mine is famous for its green twined fluorines (Cumberland twins). This fluorite is very special: under a normal artificial lighting, crystals are green emerald (or deep green). Since the sun enlightens the crystallizations, a steady blue color appears. The effect is spectacular and it is what what gives the peculiarity and the rarity of these crystallizations (a lighting type "daylight" will allow to see this blue color on most specimens).
