Hematoid Quartz - France

In 2006, during works made on a road near Entraygues-sur-Truyère ( Aveyron - France), a clayey-muddy "pocket" was opened. This one gave hematoid quartz cristallizations, all very fine, and of more or less supported tints. All the specimens extracted do not present matrix, and show a crystallization (maybe quartz - first generation) which was dissolved. Some rare specimens are sometimes in association with small (millimeter) crystals of torbernite.
